Author Rebecca Evans

Rebecca Evans is a motivational speaker, author and empowerment coach. She founded Inner Element as a way to combine her experiences as a woman in the military, mom and world class athlete into an organization that provides effective life breakthrough strategies. Her core philosophy, “fitness from the inside out” resounds for men and women of all ages.

As a frequent columnist, radio show host and frequent television guest, she shares her empowerment techniques with thousands of individuals weekly. Her accomplishments as a business woman have landed her as Idaho Business Review’s “Idaho Women of the Year” honors, the National Association of Women Business Owners Business Women of the Year honors, and Boise State University's “Women Making History in Idaho”.

She is a former Girls on the Run program director, Mrs. Idaho International 2004 and a decorated Gulf War veteran. She is the author of The Art of Self Discovery and Inner Fitness for Empowerment and lives in Idaho with her husband and three children.

MaKenzie Peake lives a fun, fascinating life in Eagle, Idaho. In the midst of school, cooking, hip-hop, singing, and volleyball, she finds peace in writing, shopping, and going to Starbucks (her all-time fave). But, never to worry, she has an amazing family right behind her, great friends, and an awesome God who loves her!

Alabama Heatherley was born on July 7th, 1996 at Saint Luke's Hospital, only two days after her best friend, MaKenzie. She loves to read, write, draw and baby sit. An only child, she has lived all of her life in Boise, Idaho with her mom, dad, four cats and crazy dog, Daisy.

Jana founded Meeting & Management Essentials in 1993 which focuses on improving meeting, time, and decision-management skills for individuals and organizations. Jana is the author of five books: Moving Meetings (McGraw Hill, 1994 and released in Italian in 1999) is Jana’s first of five, and counting, books. In January of 2005, her next book titled “No! – How One Simple Word Can Transform Your Life” was released by the publishing arm of the American Management Association. The book NO! has been translated into Polish, Turkish, Dutch, Arabic and Chinese.

Jana’s additional books: Building Community in Buildings (2007); Moving Out of the Box (2007); and in 2008, Prepared Not Paranoid. Over the course of writing five books, Jana has also served as a business columnist for the Idaho Press Tribune and Idaho Business Review newspapers. She is the publisher of the quarterly online newsletter Better Meetings for Everyone.

Named one of Idaho's Accomplished under 40 (years of age) business owners in 2001 and the Better Business Bureau's 1999 Integrity Counts small business award winner, Jana has worked to bring the power of productivity, morale and profit to day-to-day business meetings and activities since 1986.

Jana actively brings business management topics to broadcasting. For four years, she originated and hosted business-radio talk show Momentum and interviewed business people from across the country. Jana has also provided business segments on NBC's Boise Affiliate KTVB Channel 7's Sunrise Program.

Jana Kemp's clients include a variety of organizations such as: Fortune 100 companies, non-profits, associations and government agencies. Jana’s community involvement includes volunteering for the Learning Lab for 9 years, serving on the State Bar Association Public Information Committee; serving on the boards of such groups as the Idaho State Association of Parliamentarians, the American Society of Training and Development, Easter Seals Goodwill, Senior Solutions and the Learning Lab; and participating in the Citizen Law Academy in 2000, the Citizen Police Academy in 1999, and the POST Police Academy class 136 in 2002.

Jana Kemp entered elected public service for the first time in 2004 after being elected to the Idaho House of Representatives in District 16, which includes all of Garden City and parts of Northwest Boise. Her focal points were Transportation, Education, and Responsible Budgeting. She served one two-year term.
